The EasyOil Ground Coalescence Separator is designed to protect water bodies and sewer systems from mineral oil contamination in environments where light liquids are utilized. Functioning as a Class I coalescence separator, it is available in multiple nominal sizes (NS 3 to NS 15) for underground installation, making it suitable for petrol stations, car washes, vehicle repair facilities, and industrial locations.
The EasyOil features a vertically adjustable upper section that is continuously height-adjustable and tiltable by 5° for optimal ground level adaptation. It was the first series of polymer coalescence and oil/fuel separator systems to receive national technical approval on the German market. The separator is manufactured from polyethylene material that resists bioethanol (E10) and biodiesel, ensuring long-term durability. Kessel offers a 20-year warranty on tank leak tightness, fitness for purpose, and structural safety.
The system includes an integrated Emergency Brake — a self-actuated closure lock/leak barrier — that prevents light liquid leakage into the sewer pipe. Optional SonicControl monitoring uses an automatic ultrasonic sensor to measure oil and sludge layer thickness for precise monitoring and reporting. The SmartSelect planning tool assists in selecting appropriate product specifications for a given installation. Models are available in load classes B 125 (EN 124) and D 400 (EN 124), and in two construction types: cistern design and shaft construction.
