Modular Backwater Chamber

A backwater chamber in front of the building offers significant advantages. It enables all drainage points that are at risk of backwater to be safeguarded outside the building at a single central and maintenance-friendly point.

Modular backwater chambers consist of a technical module and a chamber module. These are available in different heights and therefore allow an exact adaptation to the individual circumstances.

Modular backwater chambers are available for different installation depths up to 3,348 mm, with upper sections made of grey iron or stainless steel and for different load classes.

The modular design allows subsequent installation of backwater valves (Staufix SWA, Staufix FKA) and the Pumpfix F backwater pumping station. The polymer construction is permanently leak-proof, root-resistant, and impact-resistant, and the system eliminates noise nuisance from pumps while causing no loss of living space inside the building.

Applications:
  • Central external backwater protection for buildings
  • Safeguarding drainage points at risk of backwater outside the building
  • Roof and courtyard water drainage
  • Underground installation at varying depths
  • Installation below floor slab level
  • Retrofit installations in existing structures
