Reliable, durable and affordable in price: These properties do not have to be mutually exclusive. This is proven by the Staufix Basic backwater valve. It is the ideal solution to provide protection for individual draining elements such as a shower, washbasin and washing machine which are located below the backwater level.
The Staufix Basic is available as a type 0, 1 and 2. Type 2 has two free-hanging backwater flaps that protect against the ingress of water from the sewer in the event of backwater. In addition, one of these flaps can be manually locked via an emergency closure. The Staufix Basic can be retrofitted.
The Staufix Basic is recommended for protecting individual drainage objects such as a washbasin or washing machine from backflow. It can be easily installed in an exposed position — regardless of whether in a version without, with one or with two backflow flaps.
If a backwater valve no longer fits into the existing pipe, the work and expense can increase. The drop of the Staufix Basic is just 7 mm from the inlet to the drain — so it can be integrated without any problems. The 'Clean out drain body' version can be used as a cleaning piece.
The Staufix Basic is made entirely from polymer — this protects it from corrosion. The practical quick-release closure allows the backwater valve to be opened for tool-free maintenance.
